Hackney Vicar and Vulnerable Male set for Stratford September Showdown

A Hackney vicar, the Reverend William Campbell-Taylor, and ‘Mr X’, a vulnerable male who cannot be named, are to have their case decided at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 06 September 2016, following a hearing at Thames Magistrates’ Court earlier today.
The case concerns a restraining order placed upon Mr X.  Mr X wants the order revoked whilst Revd Campbell-Taylor opposes this.
Today’s hearing began in Court Two at Thames Magistrates’ Court but was transferred to Court One by clerk Mr Cooper.  Sitting in Court One, legal adviser Miss Angra adjourned the case for a revocation hearing in September.
The September hearing is expected to take place before a District Judge and may last up to three hours.
Mr X was represented today by Mr Debashish Dey, and Revd Campbell-Taylor was represented by CPS prosecutor Mr Nathan Miebai.
